Another great game by Chester Ladies 4s. Chester took a bit of time to warm up into the game with many players who had not played together before. While Wrexham started off strong with some speedy passing between players. Rosie Llewelyn-Jones kept structure at the back with solid play by Marion Ardron and Lucy Staley pushed the ball up the right of the pitch. Chester were unable to convert this in the D. Wrexham scored late into the first half leaving the score at half time 1-0 to Wrexham.
In the second half, Chester began to work more effectively as a team making the ball do the work with improved communication between players. Fantastic play in the centre by Hannah Fallon drove the ball into our attacking half. Laura Thombs scored a brilliant goal after some skilful play up the wing. Soon after, Cat Sutton secured another goal bringing the score up to 2-1 to Chester by the final whistle.
