A frustrating match for Chester this week. Despite good defending from Sophie Williams and Megan Roberts, Winnington Park started strong, scoring several early goals. Unfortunately, Chester let this get to them and finished the first half deflated with the score at 4-0.

Chester played much stronger during the second half. An early goal from Hannah Logan was quickly responded to by Winnington Park. Chester midfield Sarah Mallion and Nicola Davies worked well to drive the ball down the middle of the pitch leading to another goal scored by Denise Jeremy on the back post. Despite Chester's best efforts, strong play from Winnington Park left the final score at 8-2.
