Runcorn Ladies 1s 0 - 6 Chester Ladies 4s

This match was a great friendly in all senses of the word. Runcorn 1s were a mixed ability team with some very talented players with everyone enjoying the game in the warm autumn sun.

Chester played a solid first half with some good passing, especially lots of support in square positions right up the pitch and Laura's goal saw us leading 0-1 at half time. In the second half, for the first time Chester really settled in to the playing formation and there were some lovely build-ups and great passing play on the break which earned a fantastic 4 more goals from open play. The final goal was recorded as an own goal but could almost be claimed by Kiera who struck in cleanly from the top of the circle.

Mention must also be given to Bethan who put in a sterling performance to ensure that Chester kept a clean sheet!
