Chester Ladies 4s 3 - 5 Bowdon Ladies 5s

This match was the toughest of the season so far. Played at a very quick pace all round, Bowdon had some very good players and were tough to contain especially in midfield. Chester played a really good first half and managed to score 2 goals on the break to come in at 2-2 at half time which was a good result at that point.

There was no let up in pace or repeated attacks from Bowdon in the second half and they quite quickly went ahead again. Chester got one back with a fantastic solo run from Rhiannon but couldn't find the breaks to score any more. Chester did well to limit attacks in the D as much as they could and would have conceded quite a few more had it not been for an amazing performance by Bethan in goal, who was rightly named player of the match by an impressed opposition.
