Having conceded the first goal on the break, the team quickly regained their composure and equalised with a straight strike from Rhiannon. Chester dominated the remainder of the first half, and Jess scored 2 goals in quick succession on the near post.

After half time the match was closely fought, with no further goals until a minute before the end, when Marion scored the team's fourth. There were further good performances among the younger members of the team, with Kiera 's great work rate earning her the player of the match award.
