Chester 2 - 2 Deeside

Chester put in a solid performance against Deeside 3s and were unlucky not to come out of it with a win.

Chester's performance in the first half of the match was excellent. Everyone played really well, but there were some great individual displays including Anna who was unpassable at the back, and Serena who weaved through lots of the opposition to feed the high forwards. It seemed that Chester would have all the running which allowed fullback Georgia to slot a goal in at the far post mid-way through the half. A second followed when Wanda, standing in for the usual strikers, scored a clean strike from a short corner.

It was unfortunate that Deeside came back straight after half time with two break goals. Chester had several more attempts on goal but just couldn't get the upper edge again.

Again a very promising game from lots of newer players working well with the more experienced ladies.
