Unlike some of the ladies performances this season, from the the very beginning Chester were under pressure.
A strong Leeds side took advantage of Chester's panicked start and raced quickly into a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. However the ladies team found a way back into the game with Rachel Huber and Nia Hughes both scoring to level the score at 2-2.
Going into the second half Chester were much more composed and both teams continued to create several chances, however it was Leeds Adele who were able to find the back of the net first meaning Chester had to find a goal in the final ten minutes of the game. As the final whistle blew Chester were awarded one last chance to level the score with a penalty corner. After several fouls in the 'D' Georgia price was able to to skilfully beat the keeper on Chester's 5th attempt, resulting in 3-3 draw and Chester first point, a result which all of the girls were delighted with.
