On a beautiful winters day 3rd in the league Ben Rhydding visited Chester the half started slowly with BR tormenting Chester with a boring half court press that unfortunately for them tactically worked in Chester’s favour. The first half finished 0-0 and the team talk focused on positively breaking through the lines of defence. An early counter attack in the second half led to BR going 0-1 up with a wonder strike that was (in fairness) unstoppable. However, Chester responded quickly and positively with an equaliser in open play, with Emily Garner bagging the goal. Emma Blair then continued her goal streak with a cheeky deflection to take the team 2-1 up. After a nervy final 5 minutes Chester kept the lead and took a valuable 3 points.
