We left a sunny Chester and turned up to a raining Manchester (shock).
While the weather was not on our side, the pitch was delightful and we began the game positively, creating lots of chances from the start. After some great attacking play we won a short corner, and Emily Garner scored a cheeky goal dragging the ball into the bottom corner. 1-0 to Chester at half time.

Unfortunately, the second half didn’t go quite as well as the first. Chester continued to attack however we didn’t manage to put our chances away, and Brooklands scored 2 goals due to a few sloppy errors on Chester’s part.

Chester continued to put in 100% effort until the end and battled extremely well. Final score 2 -1 to Brooklands 2's. Chester displayed such a good team performance and this will put us in a great position to play Morpeth next week.
