Chester Ladies 1s are on a winning run!

After a strong team performance last week, Chester ladies stormed ahead with a 5-0 win vs Didsbury Greys away at the Armitage Centre!

Dominating the game from the start, lots of possession and creative attacking flare we knew we just needed the first goal to settle us down.

Chester went 1-0 up after 24 minutes with a great 1st touch ball through from Nia Hughes to captain Sarah MacLeod to run through and strike from top D. This first goal then unleashed further attacking chances to go into half time 3-0 up.

Two goals from Fran Hughes, showing great composure in the D lobbing the keeper! Another goal from Emily Garner this week firing a drag flick in from a short corner and a cracking reverse stick strike from Bec Walker saw the Chester ladies enjoying a second win on the bounce! A solid defensive performance and a clean sheet from keeper Emily Cartwright.
