This week saw the 6s with a tough home game against local rivals Runcorn. The first half saw both teams well matched and a nervy 1-1 score at half time. All three Chester goals came from well worked short corner routines and were struck home by Ed Richards (2) and Geoff Hall. The team worked very hard for this result and there were aching bodies in the bar after the game. Remaining top of the table for a fourth week Chester need to maintain the effort for an important away match at Lymm next week.
