Oxton Men 5 vs Chester Men 5
Oxton 1 - Chester 4
A youthful Oxton side well shepherded by Eddie Fylde formerly of Chester played with athleticism and considerable skill but encountered a Chester team intent on continuing their winning streak that started last week. Defending resolutely with Uddin a rock standing firm in the centre, Jonathan Feeney picking overheads out of the sky with aplomb and Evans linking constructively with the midfield Chester took control of the game. Sam Rogers' passing was outstanding as he marauded mercilessly up the left hand side of the pitch ably supported by the resurgent Andy Patterson who blitzed an array of thunderous passes into the opponents' circle. Feeney poached a classic goal as the forwards ran riot to notch up 4 goals.
