Chester 3 – Formby 0

Strong performances from Rob Cobain pushing into the midfield and Matt Scott passing freely allowed the home side to pressurise the opposition. Chester took the lead in the first half with a short corner move rand Andy Murray doubled the score prior to the break. There were fine saves from debutant Matty Francis in goal.
