Chester took on Timperly 2s and the weather, pouring forward to earn a hard earned win 3-1. Chesters forward line ensured the high pressure was maintained in the early stages with man of the Match Tryfan Vennables completing a trade mark performance. Adam Cliffe slotted home from close after a few near misses and CHC went in to HT 1-0 up.

Timperley pushed on in the 2nd half, while they chased Ben Scott took full advantage to get Chester moving on the break and with goals rained in from Ben Cooke and Sam George as a result.
