Mens 2nd Team v Chester Mens 3rd
Chester Mens 2 won 1-0
This was always going to be a competitive fixture, the on form third team looking to build on recent success. The game was tight and ebbed and flowed with some competitive tackling. The men’s second team were well organised and defended well, Chris Bowles driving from the back and Rob O’Gorman thumping the ball forward. It was Stevie Hall who broke the deadlock winning a penalty stroke after being upended by Alex Hymen the keeper. Chris White coolly slotted it home. Mark Talbot launched a Penalty corner past the post for the third team, however both defences remained unbreached. A really good game to watch.
