In difficult wet conditions Chester came back to winning ways with 3-0 victory over Alderley Edge. Chester were able to contain Alderley Edge in their half for long periods of the game. The goals coming from Sean Standen weaving his way through a packed defence, Ben Townend hitting from close range after a forceful drive down the wing, and a terrific team goal started by a strong tackle by Leo Ferdenzi, followed by passing and movement through midfield and a great strike by Ben Jeremy. A special mention should be given to a resolute Chester defence, comprising of an outstanding Freya, Will Yeoman, Henry Letts, Leo Ferdenzi, and goalkeeper Sam Madawee-Dillon that laid the foundations for the midfield and strikers to create the chances that led to the goals.
