Chester O45 vs Timperley O45

Over 45's Cup Game

Timperley 3 - 4 Chester

Chester travelled to Timperley for the second round of the over 45's cup. Both sides had strong squads out and were well matched on the pitch. The game started at a high tempo and continued throughout. Chester were the first to score with Wanda Hall finding the back of the net, and a second goal soon followed, this time being scored by Amy Brickland. This didn't deter Timperley who continued to fight hard and which paid off with them finding the backboard of the Chester goal. 2-1 to Chester at half time.

The second half was played with the same passion and tempo as the first. 2 more goals were scored by Chester, Marion Ardon getting the third goal and Amy Brickland getting her second of the game and Chester's fourth. Timperley also managed to put 2 more goals away and piled on the pressure in the last 5 minutes with several shots at goal but Chester managed to hold tight. Final score was a 4-3 win to Chester, who now go through to the quarter finals.
