Chester worked hard to secure the point away from home against the second placed side. Chester took the lead in the first half from a well worked penalty corner. However Sandbach developed a period of pressure and forced an own goal from the Chester defence. Chester finished the game off strongly and were unlucky not to convert one of 3 good chances in the second half.
