Chester were looking forward to this game wanting to readdress the away result earlier in the season. Chester started well with Tom Ardron and Luke Disley both coming close. However Sandbach are a well organised side and made the most of their opportunities. They opened the scoring with a well taken finish and then a goal line scramble just led to the ball crossing the line.
