With the mist rolling in, the late start at Deeside provided a good test for the 4th team. Chester started well with Dave Newman dominating the midfield and Matty Thombs marshalling the defence. Deeside were well organised but lacked the service to the forwards to provide any real test to Daf 'the Cat'Jones in the Chester Net. Chris Bowles opened the scoring with a shot that flew in from the top of the D in the first half.

Chester dominated the rest of the match and there were many chances however Paul North finished off a well worked move at the far post to secure the 3 points. A really enjoyable derby.
