Timperley lead the table and showed why with a series of early attacks that left Chester 2 goals down. However as Aidan Davidson and Ben Scott started to dominate the midfield they provided the platform for Cieran Sweeney to probe the Timperly defence. Sweeney passed two defenders to set up Alex Miller for a simple tap in. Stevie Hall returning from injury accelerated past the defence to score a superb solo effort. Timperley reorganised and forced keeper Daf Jones into a number of good saves however Chester failed to effectively clear their lines and Timperley smashed the ball home. The final Timperley was a superb ariel deflection from a reverse stick shot.
