Congratulations to all the Chester Players who participated in the UK Championships this weekend at Beeston Hockey Club. They were selected to play for the Tensworth side who are a selective touring team who enter the UK Championships. Players are identified from across the whole of the North West of England to face oppositions representing regions from all over the UK.

Chester Hockey Club was exceptionally well represented with 9 players being chosen; Sam, Theo, Noah, Monty and Leo all played in the Championship cup format tournament, while Thomas, Matthew, Charlie and Henry played in the Trophy league competition. All the players were fantastic ambassadors for our club and region, demonstrating excellent skills and adapting well to the high standard of play.

Special mention should be made of Thomas who was the Tensworth top Scorer (4 goals) in the Trophy competition and Sam who was stunning in his playoff game saving 3 penalty shuffles. Well done to all the boys an excellent performance.
