The second round of the national Over 35s Ladies Cup was an away game at Pendle Forest HC which turned out to be a pleasantly mild and still visit to the heart of Lancashire.
Chester Vets were in great spirits and started strongly with an opening goal after only 3 minutes. The game was fairly evenly fought for most, including a penalty flick awarded to each side. Both sides used the space well but Chester took the upper hand in the second half to extend their first half lead to a comfortable 5-2 final score. Great performances from everyone, but highlight of the game must go to Amy for a stunning reverse stick flick goal which stunned the opposition.
Goals: Claire OHara (2), Claire Gledhill (2), Amy (1)
