Chester turned up to a wet and cold Macclesfield with only 10 players, but were determined to come away with some points. Macclesfield were quick off the mark and scored 2 quick goals, but Chester found their game and slowly began to dominate their opposition, with Emma Archer scoring before half time.

Half time oranges and jelly babies gave Chester a real boost and they started quickly after half time, equalising through Shona Valentine. As the skies darkened and the rain came again, Chester continued to dominate and scored again through Ryanne Bardgett. Macclesfield started to attack more as the impact of Chester only having 10 players started to take effect, equalising with 5 minutes to go.

The 10 Ladies of Chester never gave up and were committed to the end of the game. A well-deserved 1 point.
