Chester 3's hosted Crewe knowing they were in for a hard battle and they were not disappointed. The game started at a high tempo and continued at that rate throughout. It was end to end play with each side having several chances. Crewe scored first then scored again soon after. Being 2-0 down did not knock Chester though, they dug in and before the end of the first half had levelled the score. The second half saw each side grab another goal each. Final score 3-3.
