A thrilling season opener saw a young Chester side travel to Northrop Hall. In a pulsating first half, Chester dominated the exchanges, scoring 4 goals. Oliver Irwin was supreme in the midfield well supported by Ruben Wardle. Hari Bansal was direct and skillfull in his attacking play and provided the pick of the finishes smashing the ball into the roof of the net. Claudia Royle and Tilly Irvine were industrious in their work rate whilst Alex Mosquera provided attacking flair. After the break Northrop introduced a highly experienced player who was able to give Olly a run for his money, However Chester battled hard and came out 8 -7 winners. A stunning team performance.
