Chester HC are looking to recruit an Umpire Coordinator. The role covers the following aspects:
• Produce a schedule for the allocation of umpires during the season
• Coordinate allocation of umpires to league and friendly fixtures each week
• Inform umpires and captains of weekly umpiring arrangements
• Help club umpires and any potential umpires develop their skills and confidence.
• Arrange assessments for newly qualified umpires
• Encourage players to undertake umpire courses
