Richard Young was on target again this week with another 2 fantastic goals. The first half saw Chester down by 2 goals following some good attacking play by Colwyn Bay. The second half saw a much more determined effort by Chester and the pulled it back to two all before Young hammered in the winning goal. Something tho lift the spirits before Christmas and encourage a strong second half to the season.

Chester Men's 5s vs Northop Hall Men's 3s - Saturday 3rd December 2011

Won 8-1
Chester produced an excellent performance to overcome local rivals Northop Hall. Richard Young smashed 4 great goals to lead the way as the team turned on the style. Mark Blackie scored with a delightful touch over the Northop keeper and Dafydd Jones, Geoff Hall and skipper Jon Feeney also found the net.

A strong Chester side entertained a young and enthusiastic Alderley Edge side in a well fought encounter. Chester controlled the play in the opening half and lead 1-0 at the break thanks to a close range finish from Julian Bills. Chester extended their lead in the second half thanks to another fine strike form Bills and an athletic shot from captain Jon Feaney, following some great skill by Richard Young. Alderley pulled one back right at the death, but it was not enough and Chester ran out deserved winners.
