Chester Ladies 2nds rose to the dizzy heights of 4th in the league, building on a superb 6-0 win against Brooklands Poynton last week with a 1-0 win against local rivals Deeside Ramblers. Ramblers played the first 20 minutes without a keeper, but failed to capitalise with the extra outfield player, however Chester won a short, expertly converted by defender Dallas. Some confusion with the subbing of the Deeside keeper tested the umpires, but the match progressed end to end, with both teams having chances, but unable to convert. Player of the match was Lauren Calvert who made a number of good runs throughout the match.
