Social Hockey 7.30pm – 9pm 2020 Year 11- to age 100 - Mixed (all senior players)

Badgers Training and Social Hockey sessions now need to be booked in on https://club-ed.co.uk. Please register on Club-Ed via https://club-ed.co.uk/membershome and clicking on the ‘Register’ option.

Make sure to select Chester Hockey Club in the club search so that you are assigned to our club. Once your registration has been confirmed, you will then be able to book on to sessions that have been assigned to you. Book on via 'My Training'.

Junior Training

Junior Hockey training at Chester Hockey Club takes place on Sunday mornings from Sunday 12th September 2021 at

9.30 - 10.30 for players in school years Reception to year 5 with registration from 9.20

We split this session in to two groups:

School years Reception to 3
School years 4 and 5

10.40am – 11.50 for players in school years 6 and 7 with registration at 10.30am
12.00 – 1.15pm for players in school years 8 and 9 with registration from 11.50am

Initially, we provide either a one to one session or a small group session for beginners so that they may gain an understanding of the basics of Hockey, before joining their respective age groups.

They will need trainers (not blades) shin pads and gumshield. We can provide a suitable stick. The cost of each Sunday morning session is £3.

We offer up to three taster sessions. If your child is keen to continue, then junior membership for those in school years 4 and above is just £40.00 per annum, although Sunday sessions do continue to be £3 weekly.

We offer an internal league called ‘Animal Magic’ on Saturday evenings at 5pm at Abbey Gate College, where our junior members aged 7 to 12 years old are divided into teams and play against each other, although there is currently a waiting list for ‘Animal Magic’.
Our u10 and u12 boys and girls teams play against neighbouring clubs through the season and compete in the Cheshire Clubs championships in March each year.
